Olivier Baudoin

Ring Construction via Palladium(0)-Catalyzed C–H Activation
Since 2015 he is a full Professor of chemistry at the University of Basel, Switzerland.
His research interests are development of new synthetic methods: palladium-catalyzed activation of unactivated C-H bonds (since 2003), remote functionalization via migratory cross-coupling (since 2010), Pd-catalyzed cross-coupling, asymmetric catalysis. Application to the synthesis of natural products and active pharmaceutical ingredients.
Olivier Baudoin has won several awards:
- CNRS Bronze Medal, 2005
- Junior member of the "Institut Universitaire de France", 2009-14
- YoungProfessor award from the French Chemical Society, Organic Chemistry Division, 2010
