Dr. Maud Reiter is the Vice President, Discovery Chemistry & Development and at interim head of Chemical & Process Sciences within Science & Research organisation at dsm-firmenich.

Maud received her undergraduate degree from Imperial College, London in 2002, followed in 2006 by a DPhil under supervision of Professor Véronique Gouverneur at the University of Oxford.  After postdoctoral work with 2021 Chemistry Nobel Prize Laureate Professor Sir David MacMillan at Caltech/Princeton University, Maud joined Merck& Co. in 2008 in Rahway, NJ, USA as a medicinal chemist.  In 2011, Maud moved to dsm-firmenich as Director of New Ingredients Discovery and in April 2022, Maud was promoted to Vice President, Discovery Chemistry & Development, overseeing both the Discovery and Process R&D of new ingredients, as well as process optimisation of existing palette ingredients across four research centres in Switzerland & France.
