Direct flights are available from all major international hubs in Europe as well as from any larger city via one connecting flight to those hubs.&nbsp; More information is available on the Vilnius Airport <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vno.lt\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">website<\/a> or the Kaunas Airport <a href=\"https:\/\/kaunas-airport.lt\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">website<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>By train:<\/strong> Vilnius can be reached by train from many international cities. Vilnius railway station is in convenient location as it takes barely 10 minutes on foot to reach Vilnius Old Town and the city center. One can purchase train tickets <a href=\"http:\/\/www.litrail.lt\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">online<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"container theme article margin-bottom-30 mceNonEditable\">\n<div class=\"row mceEditable deletableDiv\">\n<div class=\"col-md-8 col-xs-12 col-md-offset-2 editor-text\">\n<div class=\"editor-content editor-inner-text\">\n<div class=\"container theme article margin-bottom-30 mceNonEditable\">\n<div class=\"row mceEditable deletableDiv\">\n<div class=\"col-md-8 col-xs-12 col-md-offset-2 editor-text\">\n<div class=\"editor-content editor-inner-text\">\n<h4><strong><br \/>Getting from Vilnius airport to city center<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>By bus<\/strong>: there are two express buses (1G, 3G) to the city centre and a bus (88) to the Old Town. There\u2019s a public transportation stop conveniently located outside the airport\u2019s arrival hall. It takes only 15-20 min to reach Old Town and city center.&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.stops.lt\/\">www.stops.lt<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>By train<\/strong>: there\u2019s a dedicated train that runs between the airport and the Main Railway Station. A train stop, stairs and passenger lift are installed right outside the airport\u2019s passenger terminal. This is a very quick way to reach the city centre \u2013 the ride only takes 8 min and costs 1 Eur. The Vilnius Railway Station is located a short distance from the Old Town and can be reached on foot.<\/li>\n<li><strong>By taxi<\/strong>: there\u2019s a Vilnius Aiport approved taxi stand right outside the arrivals hall. These taxis accept credit cards. It takes only 10 min to reach the Old Town and city center, the cots is ~10 Eur.&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.vno.lt\/\">www.vno.lt<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"editor-content editor-inner-text\">\n<h4><strong>Getting around Vilnius<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Public transport. <\/strong>It is made up of bus, express bus and trolleybus lines. The extensive network of public transport connects each of the city\u2019s districts and is easy to navigate. Timetables are available at every stop. The Vilnius Citizens Card is an electronic ticketing system used throughout the city\u2019s public transport network. City guests are recommended to use the public transport journey-planning app&nbsp;<strong>TRAFI<\/strong>. The app combines all transport options in real times and lets users compare prices and timing with just a few clicks.&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.trafi.com\/\">www.trafi.com<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Shared mobility. <\/strong>Vilnius is both vibrant and laid back, and its relatively compact size makes visiting it a pleasure. It\u2019s certainly a walkable city, and often times there is no need to use public transportation to get around. Bike, car and scooter sharing systems are great for getting around the city, and both services are popular with locals and city guests:&nbsp;<strong>dropbyke, cyclocity, citybee, Bolt, Spark<\/strong>.
