He completed his doctorate in organic chemistry in 2008 under the guidance of Prof. Oleg Kulinkovich. After obtaining his PhD, he continued his work as a research fellow at the Laboratory of Organoelement Synthesis at the same university. In 2011, he moved to Tallinn University of Technology (Tallinn, Estonia) for a postdoctoral stay. In 2015, he joined Chair of Green Chemistry at Tallinn University of Technology as a senior researcher and started his independent carrier.
